How to cancel Propertyware

Cancel Propertyware last, after your export is finished and checked. Its Terms of Use say that if you cancel before the end of your term the cancellation takes effect immediately, you lose access, and everything in the account is permanently and irreversibly deleted. The same terms say no refunds are given. Checked against Propertyware's Terms of Use (last updated November 8, 2018) on 2026-10-05. Your signed agreement may say something different, and it controls.

The right order

Read your own agreement first. The public terms cover both monthly and twelve-month subscriptions and say both renew automatically. An order form signed with Propertyware or RealPage, the company its legal notices are addressed to, can change the term, the notice, and what you owe.
Export everything and check it. Work through the Propertyware export guide and open every file. This is the step you cannot redo afterward.
Move rent collection. Get the replacement live and tested before you give up access, with at least one rent cycle to spare.
Cancel the way your agreement says, in writing. The public terms give two instructions. They say you may cancel at the Subscription Settings page of your account unless you are bound by an annual term, and that cancellation shall be in writing, delivered by certified mail or a nationally recognized overnight carrier. Notices are addressed to RealPage, Inc., 2201 Lakeside Blvd., Richardson, TX 75082, Attn: Legal Department. Keep the delivery receipt.

What happens to my data when I cancel Propertyware?

Propertyware's Terms of Use say that upon cancellation you no longer have access to the site, and all information in your account is automatically, permanently, and irreversibly deleted. They also say Propertyware has no obligation to maintain, preserve, or forward your data after termination. Export first.

Does Propertyware refund a canceled subscription?

The terms say Propertyware grants no refunds or credits for partial months or years. On a monthly subscription you owe that month's full fee. On an annual subscription you may cancel before the term expires, without refund.

Does Propertyware renew automatically?

Yes. The terms say Propertyware automatically renews the subscription and charges your card every month or year, depending on the subscription type, and that an annual subscription renews automatically after the initial term.

How much notice does Propertyware require to cancel?

The public Terms of Use do not name a notice period in days. They were last updated in 2018, so check the order form or agreement you signed, which controls.

What if I just stop paying Propertyware?

That is the riskiest way out. The terms say your data may be irretrievably deleted if the account is 15 days or more delinquent, and unpaid fees stay owed.
